Toufayan Bakeries, a family owned pita bread company, which has industrial bakeries both in Florida & New Jersey, has engaged W/Studio Architects to be their Architect for their New Jersey Facility. The initial project is to demolish an existing 30,000 SF masonry building from the existing foundation up, and expand the footprint to an overall building of 48,000 SF, adjacent to their Ridgefield, NJ Bakery. This project would allow Toufayan Bakeries to expand their product line.
Since there were no existing drawings for the building, W/Studio Architects digitally scanned the building and used the Matterport platform to create a 3D Revit Model of the existing building to commence with the schematic design.
W/Studio Architects has developed a Schematic Design that was coordinated with L2A, Civil Engineers for the project, to submit the project to NJDEP and NJSEA for Zoning approval.
W/Studio Architects will be coordinating and securing the balance of the Design Team to commence with the Design Development and then the Contract Document Phases of the Project.
